Port Macquarie Airport is serviced by 6 direct daily flights from Sydney with QantasLink and Virgin Australia and a daily direct service to Brisbane with Virgin Australia. There is also the XPTtrain service 3 times a day between Sydney and Brisbane stopping at Wauchope.
Greater Port Macquarie extends from the mouth of the Hastings and Camden Haven Rivers west to the Great Dividing Range, with a coastline of 84kms. The total area of the region is 3,693 sq kms.
